closed last night again and I have to tonight as well but i have to go in at 8:30 this morning for a managers meeting... should be interesting... I messed up last night and let the phone ring 8 times ooops... I was on the other line with a customer and all the kids were either on break or helping other customers and guess who was calling on those 8 rings ... the manager.. OF COURSE! isnt that just my luck... I kept thinking someone else was going to get it but no one did damn I hate when shit like that happens.
on a cool note i took pictures of the outside lights for the district manager last night and he loved them... so... i got brownie points there...
lol too bad it takes 10 good things to make up for one bad LMAO...

Anna, don't go getting all cooperate on me. Remember that you are an artist!! That is your first priority. The day job just pays the bills, right? Don't take it too seriously, and don't let THEM turn you into someone you're not (...or I'll have to go out there and beat them all up!) Although at 5' 2" no one is ever too scared of me. LOL
Yes, the paper got finished, Monday night. I believe I finished the course with anywhere between a 95 and a 98 % average, so my 4.0 stays. Yippee! I don't know why it matters, to me. It just does.
Anyway, I've been using my "free" time to do stuff in the yard. ...We live on almost an acre, with fruit trees, so there's always some tree, bush or flower that needs some attention. While cutting the bottlebrush and palm trees yesterday, I sliced through my left thumb, not with the saw mind you, but on an extremely sharp palm frond. It's still throbbing... it probably needed to be stitched, but I think I butterflied it well enough. We'll see....
Also, yesterday, the pump on our pool stopped working, and we really don't have time to deal with this right now, but I guess we kind of have to. Marv, has a side business called Aerotronics Ltd. and they make F-16 side sticks and rudders (flight simulator stuff), and he has orders that have to go out before the end of the month, so he's really busy, and I have to get ready for our trip to Rhode Island on April 1 when we are flying up for my dad's 70th birthday on April 2, and Easter is this sunday and I have to make a lamb dinner to take to Marv's dad's in Leesburg. It seems like everything is a pain in the butt right now. Also, my son, David (who will be 13), Marv, my dad and my step mom were ALL born on April 2'cnd, so I have to come up with 4 great birthday gifts. It's tough to think in "quad". Oh well....
So, that's my life, at the moment in a nutshell. : )

The meeting ended up being .. just a positive thing which i was glad of... except for one part... they made us give opinions on who in the store to keep and who to fire or cut thier hours wayyyyyy back to basically make them leave... Im not into that kind of stuff I dont like being mean to anyone... and hell the way the economy is right now I damn sure hate to say someone doesnt deserve a job... yuck I dont like that part...
I ended up working till 10 tonight and i am so freakin tired... 14 hour days.... shit man... I did get the keys to the store today and my official title I am the receiving manager but I know absolutely nothing about receiving its just a title he had to use to get me into the system as a manager. I will have to learn the job but its just going to be a title for now.
Your right hannah I am an artist this corporate shit wont keep me forever... but the money is going to pay my bills for now... I am really struggling in the wedding world with booking right now... this economy is killing my business and it sucks ass...
being an artist when money is tight all over the us is not cool since everything i do artistically is basically a luxury item and not neccessary...

Im waiting to hear from rex so I think Ill go jump in the shower before he calls... He is headed to ga and then they are getting a load back to fl and he will be done with training. I think he has to test out on a couple things before he comes home but he will basically be done with training and will be getting his own truck soon... Hes done really well with all of that so im sure he will do great on his final tests.
poor pnut has been missing me lately so has ru and abber dog... I look forward to being off tomorrow and spending time with them

I just found out the title tony and another assistant chick over at another store told me those jobs pay 12 an hour... i dont know on mine yetthey havent actually put me into the system, Im sure i will get a raise though. I freakin better! I work my ass off there litteraly !
Hannah Im jealous you have a pool even a green one... just think how fun it will be when its all clean you can jump in and lounge for a while. I always wanted a pool.. but It never happens at least I do have the lake LOL and im not scared to go in it if someone else is around.. or in the shallow edges near the house... but its a bit cold for that today.

I've always wanted a pool too. I've been living in Florida since 1990, and this is the first house I've ever owned that has a pool. Before it started acting like a psycho, possessed pool, I loved it. Now, I'm rethinking that.
I'd take the lake any day. At least God cleans it, and you don't have to!
