... But I didn't celebrate St. Pat's Day with an Irish flair. I only had 1 measly beer as I was copying the references. That's OK. I'll have more fun tomorrow!

i had an ok day.. worked most of it of course..
then rex called said hes done with training saturday so he will be coming back to fl and his 11 year old daughter is coming to visit him and he wants me to meet her... OK NOW I FREAK a bit... meeting someones pre teen daughter... and shes staying here with us a couple of days... um.... have i mentioned I dont have kids... Just a weeeee bit nervous about this meeting...
I fixed up my spare room for her.. well Im fixing it up now so it will be kinda cool for her... I hope she likes it...
I hope she likes me and we get a long well... or it could be a long visit... LOL
No worries right , Im kinda cool ... dont know if Im 11 year old cool but it should be ok crossing my fingers!

Anna, ~ No worries about meeting Rex's daughter. You are "Any Age Kinda' Cool"! You'll be great!
Daughters are somewhat attached to their fathers though, so just be sure to include her in your plans with him and she'll feel as though she's wanted and she will not feel threatened by the attention Rex is giving to you. She, like everyone else, just needs to be assured that she's loved and wanted.
The good thing about you, Anna, is that you are a very warm and kind person. I've never even met you, and I can tell that about you. It comes through loud and clear, so you can feel confident about meeting anyone. ~ People always respond to who you really are on the inside, especially children because it is a necessary survival technique with them.

Me well I am closing the store tonight with marvin one of the other assistant managers and tomorrow night with the charles the third assistant manager..should be interesting closing with charles as he knows less then I do about closing and hes been with the company for 5 years... OMG glad i have been making cheat sheets to remember everything
Im not super super stressed about meeting his daughter... I have always gotten a long with kids... its the preteen and teenagers though that are scarey to me lmao.
LOL itll be ok im sure...
plus maybe ill have to work or something and she can spend a lot of time with her dad... which is what they both need anyway since she lives in tn
